At Duncan Regional Hospital, we have more than 70 healthcare providers on our medical staff. These well-trained, dedicated professionals practice in the areas of: emergency medicine, family practice, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, podiatry, radiology, thoracic surgery, urology and vascular surgery.

These physicians have completed their medical school and residency training at a variety of highly respected institutions. A residency-training program begins after medical school and can last from three to seven years, depending on the specialty. It is required that all of our physicians become board certified, which means they have met the high standards of one of the medical specialty boards. To become certified, a physician must complete post-graduate training in a specialty and pass an examination administered by the certifying specialty board.
