Duncan Regional Hospital is home to the new DRH Horizons inpatient psychiatric unit for geriatric patients, ages 65 and older.

The unit is a 12-bed, private room facility located on the west end of the fourth floor of the hospital.

The unit's services include mental status evaluations, individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, patient and family education, 24-hour nursing care, medication management, medical consultation, recreational therapy, interdisciplinary treatment planning, structured daily activities and discharge planning.
