Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Information Technology Manager, the Desktop Support Technician I will be responsible for the support of the Hospital's desktop PC's operating systems and applications. They will provide elementary and intermediate level support for desktop applications such as the Hospital's Health Information system (MEDITECH) as required. Responsibilities will include a number of data entry tasks, maintaining pc equipment and maintenance schedules and day to day installation of pc hardware. The Desktop Support Technician I operates with a moderate level of direct supervision.

Job Requirements: A+ Certification required. 2-3 years experience in providing desktop and laptop break fix support. Must possess good customer service and communication skills. Software skills should include Windows 2000/XP and Microsoft Office experience.
