Horizons Geriatric Psychiatry Inpatient Unit is a short-term, crisis stabilization center which provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for adults ages 65 and older who are experiencing emotional, cognitive or behavioral symptoms. These conditions include memory disorders (such as Alzheimer’s), depression, anxiety and/or suicidal tendencies.
This 12-bed, private room facility is located in the Duncan Regional Hospital on the 4th floor. Our team helps the patient to cope with the source(s) of their symptoms and help them through the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan.
